2018 Annual Symposium

The 2018 edition of the CFL Symposium will take place on Friday, 8 June at Conference Aston (Susan Cadbury Lecture Theatre). We are delighted to announce the following keynote speakers for this year's event:

Debi Ashenden, Professor of Cyber Security, University of Portsmouth

Peter L. Patrick, Professor of Sociolinguistics, University of Essex

Paul Roberts, Professor of Criminal Jurisprudence, University of Nottingham

Dr Gillian Tully, Forensic Science Regulator

We will also be celebrating ten years since our launch and so taking the opportunity to showcase our research and casework. The main topics we are going to cover include the discourse of online criminal activity, investigative interviewing, investigative authorship analysis and forensic science communication.
